This washer has exceeded all of my expectations! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have done multiple washes in this machine just to be certain that it can handle all types of loads and that it has consistent premium performance. I started with a load of bedding, and it out-performed any machine I’ve ever used to clean linen and blankets. The sheets, blankets, and comforter not only fit entirely into the machine, but they came out thoroughly cleaned and freshly scented from my detergent. My old machine barely shook it up enough to get any garments or linen fully saturated with the detergent, so this is very surprising given the size and density of my linen load. Next I tested out the heavy duty setting on my husband’s heavily soiled, rugged work clothing, and once again it totally flabbergasted me with its performance. The four way agitator and extreme spin speed capability, broke down the dirt and grime quickly and efficiently, to the point that I no longer have to worry when I miss scrubbing some stains that I’d normally worry about setting in on my old machine. Of course I wouldn’t want to miss scrubbing a stain, but when his construction clothing came out and basically looked like he had not even gone to work in them, that’s when I saw the true power of this washer. And just as it has the capacity to be tough on grit, it can be just as gentle on the delicate and fragile materials. I put in some delicate tops and they came out just as I originally put them in, except they were perfectly clean. I really am impressed!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washing machine is awesome. I think it may be smarter than I am! It measures the weight of the clothes before it adds the water! It scared me at first because it was spinning and no water was coming through and I thought it might burn up! Had to read the instructions for a change. And I have never seen a tub this big in a top loading unit. I think it might be bigger than a side loading unit! I can finally wash my comforters. And I LOVE the see through lid because now I can see if I am using enough detergent! It also tells me how long the wash cycle will be which is great. It even plays a little tune when it finishes! I never thought I’d look forward to doing laundry but they’ve done it. We’ll done LG.

On The Fence. A fairly recent purchase–less than a month–so I’m still learning the ins and outs of the machine. I am happy of the quality of my washes but a bit frustrated that I am limited by my ability to control some of the functionality. Also, I am very obviously using much more water in my washes the with my prior machine as I am certain my next water bill will show–my wash times are much, much, much longer per load, as well. It is early but am feeling some buyer’s regret…

The washer would not go into test mode as described in the manual to do to initialize for first use. It’s supposed to show some code for a few steps to take but it never did. The delivery service would not installed because we didn’t have the washer drip pan ready so they only hooked the new…

Mighty inexpensive washer with smart washing sensing that allows the washer to determine the length of the cycle based on load size, etc.. My favorite feature is the glass lid because it allows for watching the wash cycle which is rather relaxing and mindlessly satisfying! Highly suggest…

I went with this LG due to the fact that my prior LG appliances have always been great! I have washed clothes in the “Normal “ cycle and it was so little water that not both items got wet. I believe in saving water, but why waste your time if it is not enough water to actually wash the items…

Spinning, water consumption is a lot less. My old washing machine kept breaking down, and I was done fixing it. So I did some research and found out LG had the best ratings, so I went and looked at one. It had a ten year warranty on it, and happened to be on sale. I like it. So we baught it. We have had for a month now and have been very happy with it. It doesn’t use as much water as my old washing machine and hoping to see are water bill go down. It also spins better, so my dryer doesn’t work as hard. Very satisfied so far.
