I recently bought this for my daughter’s bedroom apartment. It works great and does an excellent job. The one before this was also a Frgidaire, but this one is definitely quieter! (You may see black spikes on back of AC. That is to repel pigeons.)

This a/c is compact and easily installed. So far, it seems to do a good job cooling about 250 sq ft. It is also surprisingly quiet. The electrical cord has a bulky plug with a built-in ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) device. My old house does not have grounded wiring with 3-prong…
