Nice crisp pictures . Fast lens. But when zoomed all the way out to 300 mm you get shadows around the edges of shot , but easily cropped out. It will work great until I’m ready to buy a L series lens

A refurbished lens that worked better than I anticipated! I used this to photograph the 2017 solar eclipse and was highly pleased! The details I captured were amazing, and the fact that I have a crop sensor (APS-C) means that it’s focal length is greater than 300mm. The motor is fast at focusing!
